By repute, one of a set of four made for Count Carl Loewenheim, the Swedish Ambassador into the Russian Imperial Court 1815-1820, sold Sotheby's London, Sale #12/16/98 Lot#237. The finely chased gilt bronze mounts, representing Centaur with Eros Astride, after the Hadrian's Villa "Furietti Centaurs", and Centauride with Warrior Astride.
